Barley is an annual plant and belongs to the family of grasses.
Since the dawn of man barley has accompanied people as a cultivated, food, feed and curative plant. It was cultivated in ancient Mesopotamia, in Egypt, India, Greece and Rome.
Barley used to be the most important plant of the early civilisations.
His is why the Polish producer would like to present the unique, one-of-a-kind Polish Young Barley, cultivated on the Polish grounds in Świętokrzyskie Province, harvested in an appropriate growth stage. Its nutritional values are underestimated, especially while taking into account the fact that it is the herbal form of barley that contains beta-glucans, fibre, vitamins E, A, C, B1 (among others) as well as minerals and folic acid, the content of which amounts to 1800 µg in 100g of Young Barley and this comprises 900% of the recommended daily consumption of this vitamin.
Stress, inappropriate diet, eating in a hurry, overweight, addictions, medicines all influence our body in an unfavourable way. Beneficial activity of Young Barley
Young Barley contains chlorophyll (264.7 mg/kg), i.e. a green colourant found in plants. Chlorophyll means for plants as much as blood means for people.
Young Barley contains in its composition a high amount of vitamin B9, namely folic acid (vitamin M), which is found in food in the form of foliate that:
- assists proper blood production,
- assists the proper functioning of the immune system,
- participates in cell divisions,
- supports proper aminoacids synthesis,
- contributes the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy.
Young Barley also contains a high amount of vitamin C (55mg/100g), E (8.3mg/100g), B1 (thiamine) (0.62mg/100g).
Vitamin C:
- increases iron absorption,
- assists the proper functioning of the immune system,
- supports proper collagen production in order to ensure the proper functioning of: blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, the skin, teeth,
- assists the proper functioning of the nervous system,
- supports the regeneration of the reduced form of vitamin E.
Vitamins E and C support the protection of cells agains oxidant stress.
Vitamin B1 (56.36% NRV) among others assists the proper functioning of the heart and the nervous system as well as contributes to the maintenance of proper energy metabolism.
Barley fibre (43.3g in 100g of the product).
The composition of Young Barley also contains:
Zinc (5.5mg/100g), which helps to maintain not only proper acid-alkaline balance, but also proper carbohydrates metabolism and contributes to the maintenance of the proper metabolism of nutritional macrocomponents and vitamin A.Phosphorus (460mg/100g), which contributes to the maintenance of proper energy metabolism and assists the proper functioning of cell membranes.
Magnesium (117.20mg/100g), which contributes to the maintenance of electrolytic balance and proper energy metabolism. Magnesium is also important in cell divisions.
Potassium (3200mg/100g), which helps to maintain proper blood pressure, assists the proper functioning of muscles and the nervous system.
Calcium (960mg/100g), which contributes to proper blood clotting and helps to maintain proper neurotransmission. Calcium participates in the process of cell division and specialisation.
Iron (66.40mg/100g), which among others assists proper red cell and haemoglobin production, helps to properly transport oxygen in the body and serves a function in cell division.
Silicon (29,4 mg/100 g).
Chlorophyll (26,47 mg/100 g).
Phosphorus, magnesium as well as calcium help to preserve healthy bones and teeth. Potassium, magnesium and calcium, on the other hand, assist the proper functioning of muscles.

INGREDIENTS:

HOW TO PREPARE:
- Pour 1 flat teaspoon (1g) of fine barley to a glass and fill it with boiled water or any fruit juice at a room temperature; stir carefully.
- Pour 1 flat teaspoon (1g) of fine barley to soups, salads, potatoes, sauces, sandwiches, etc.
APPLICATION:
1 flat teaspoon (1g) three times a day.
While the use of young barley is recommended to consume about two liters of fluid per day. WARNING! Do not boil and pour boiling water. Use only at room temperature.
